I've been testing ICE ECC, because while I love Quickpar, I sometimes have complicated directory trees to protect (before burning), and it's tedious and inefficient to make par2 sections for every subdirectory.

I tested it on a directory tree of about 3.5 GB, and generated 700 MB of ECC files, since I planned to burn a data DVD.

I then moved 100MB of files out of the tree and told it to verify. It regenerated some of the files, but then stopped, without recreating the rest. Well I say it stopped, but in fact it just sat there eating 100% of one CPU, for several hours. But it never regenerated all the files. Fortunately, I moved the 100MB of files for the test, rather than deleting them.

Is 700MB of ECC files not enough to regenerate 100MB of missing files? Or did I discover a bug in my first test?

Thanks!

You discover a bug. Try to use v1.1. I hope it can help.
